Waterfix Program to help water restrictions in Sydney in effort to save water

An army of plumbers is fixing leaky taps and shower heads across Sydney for free in a bid to help households reduce their water bills and salvage the rapidly lowering dam levels.

With dams levels now below 50 per cent, the state government says every drop matters.

The WaterFix program was launched just two months ago and already 2,500 residents have taken up the offer.
